MEN'S PELVIC HEALTH · RED DEER, ALBERTA
Let's talk about the things
that are hard to talk about.
Dedicated, one-to-one pelvic health physiotherapy for men across Central Alberta. Bladder changes, bowel concerns, sexual function, and pelvic pain deserve a careful assessment and a straightforward conversation.
A WHOLE-PERSON VIEW
The pelvic floor works with the hips, spine, breathing, and abdominal wall. I assess these connections with hands-on MSK care at the centre, then build the plan around your concerns.
REASONS TO COME IN
One connected system.
Men’s pelvic health concerns often overlap. I look at how pain, sexual health, and bowel and bladder function can relate to one another. Hover over or tap a circle to explore common symptoms.
BEFORE & AFTER SURGERY
Prostatectomy rehabilitation.
I see men preparing for or recovering from prostate surgery. Physiotherapy can help you understand the pelvic floor, plan for recovery, and work through symptoms such as leakage and pain as your situation evolves.
The plan is based on your surgery, symptoms, stage of recovery, and the advice of your surgical team.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Time dedicated to you.
We begin with a conversation, then use a hands-on assessment where relevant. We discuss your options and comfort before proceeding.
Tell me what has changed
We review your symptoms, medical and surgical history, goals, and what you have already tried.
Look at the whole picture
Depending on your concern, assessment may include movement, breathing, the back and hips, and pelvic floor function.
Leave with a plan
We discuss what we found and choose practical next steps, which may include education, exercise, symptom strategies, and follow-up.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Good questions to ask.
How do I choose an appointment?
Call Weber Physiotherapy and mention men's pelvic health. The clinic can help you choose an appointment with Eric.
Can I come before prostate surgery?
Yes. A visit before surgery can help you understand pelvic floor function and make a plan for the recovery period.
Will we only work on the pelvic floor?
No. Your assessment may also consider the hips, low back, breathing, and other factors relevant to your symptoms.
